walmart comes to weserville

This week in Weserville we were researching about wal-mart and negotiationg with them. I missed Monday, but everyone watched a video about when Wal-mart came to Ashland. Ashland was a small town, just like Weserville. The only difference was that Wal-Mart was pursuing Ashland, where as in Weserville we are pursuing Wal-Mart. After that we divided into groups based on our jobs and researched the pros and cons of bringing a walmart into Weserville. Our group thought it was a good idea, and even presented the idea of Walmart taking the gas lines from Dandy. The other group wasn't totally for Walmart, but was willing to corporate.  Since we are low on budget, we called walmart and negoiated on 2 less stoplights, and instead of adding more lanes to the main road we added a paved backroad. We also asked for 18% property tax. Walmart seemed to agree.
